I am a UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor specialising in the treatment of Addictive Disorders. I am accredited by the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) and hold a PG Certificate in Clinical Supervision. I have over thirteen years of experience working in the addiction field, eight of which have been in residential settings. I have been a consultant in programme development and implementation in Britain, Belgium and Holland I have been a key management player in the setting up of the first residential treatment programme in Belgium following the well known Minnesota model. In 2004 I moved to London and trained as a clinical supervisor at Leicester University while managing the European Office of Cottonwood de Tucson. At the same time I began teaching on the MSc in Addiction Psychology and counselling at the London South Bank University . I am now running my own private supervision practice, offering one to one and group supervision in central London. I have also created different training programmes and continue to teach, amongst other things, group practice and the 12 core functions of an addiction counsellor for the LSBU. |
